Accessibility

Many people who come to an eye hospital have reduced vision, and many are elderly. This page lists what is in place at the hospital and on this website. It states only what has been checked.

At the hospital

  • Parking: there is on-site parking.
  • Wheelchair access: the hospital has wheelchair-accessible entry and movement inside.
  • Location: beside the Kia showroom on Himayat Nagar Road, near Old MLA Quarters. A map is on the contact page.

Asking for help before a visit

If you or the person you are bringing will need help, for example from the car to the entrance, call 80966 65550 or send a WhatsApp message before you come, and say what is needed. Telling the staff in advance means they know to expect you.

If you have a question about a specific need that is not answered here, such as seating while you wait or the route to a particular room, please ask by phone before your visit. The staff can tell you exactly what to expect.

After dilating drops

Dilating drops blur near vision and increase glare for a few hours. A person who already has reduced vision may find it harder to move about during that time. Coming with a companion is strongly advised. More in before your visit.
